Celebrate Giving Tuesday with Apphienz

November 30th is celebrated as Giving Tuesday which holds significant importance, especially in the United States. Giving Tuesday was launched in 2012 by the United Nations Foundation and the 92nd Street Y in New York. Giving Tuesday was first announced in September 2012, two months before the first Giving Tuesday, which took place on November 27, 2012. Mashable, a technology website, made the announcement. The goal of the day is to motivate individuals and businesses to take action and give back to the community.

How is Apphienz celebrating Giving Tuesday?

Apphienz truly believes in the power of giving back to society and creating value to the best of our capacity. The CEO and Founder, Mani Anand decided to volunteer for various Nonprofits on Catch A Fire and have created an impact of $20305. Not only that, but she is also mentoring the youth through different mediums like WomenTech Network.

Meanwhile, Piyusha Pilania, Sales and Marketing Manager has created an impact of $8424 so far. Apart from this, she is currently supporting a New York-based Nonprofit, Second Chance Studios, focused on the reentry in the digital space for formerly incarcerated individuals.

The other Apphienz team members are volunteering for their respective local communities. They also contribute to the community in the yearly leaves that are dedicated specially for volunteering.

Apphienz is aligned with the UN's sustainable development goals to support the community.

It’s easier to take than to give. It’s nobler to give than to take. The thrill of taking lasts a day. The thrill of giving lasts a lifetime - Joan Marques
